Sept-Îles Archipelago Zodiac Expedition

Blast across glittering boreal waters aboard a powerful Zodiac to the wild Sept-Îles Archipelago — seabird colonies, harbour seals, and the raw edge of the Gulf of St. Lawrence await. A true bucket-list encounter with sub-Arctic nature at its most untamed.

What to expect

Your expert guide pilots a rigid-hull inflatable at exhilarating speed through the seven-island chain, pausing at Corossol Island's internationally recognised bird sanctuary — home to over 10,000 nesting seabirds including Atlantic puffins. You'll also circle Grosse Boule Island, scanning the rocky shores for basking harbour seals. The salty spray, the cry of seabirds, and the panorama of untouched boreal coastline make this an unforgettable sensory experience. Waterproof gear is provided; groups are deliberately small to maximise sightings.

Good to know

Tours typically run 2.5–3 hours; depart from the cruise pavilion quayside. Pre-book directly — spaces are very limited and this is the single most popular excursion in port. Check all-aboard time and allow 30 minutes of buffer.
