Thunder across the monumental golden dunes of Genipabu in a private open buggy, then ride a dromedary at the water's edge. Brazil's most iconic coastal dune landscape — raw, cinematic, and completely unforgettable.
What to expect
Your private buggy departs directly from the port transfer point and speeds north along the coast to the vast Genipabu dune field, where drifts soar up to 30 metres above the Atlantic. You'll choose between 'with emotion' (steep descents, airtime) or the more leisurely scenic route — both are spectacular. A stop at the freshwater lagoon for a swim, plus the legendary dromedary ride along the shoreline, complete the morning. A chilled caipirinha awaits at a dune-top bar with panoramic ocean views.
Good to know
Genipabu is approximately 30 km north of the port — allow 25 minutes transfer each way. Full-day format comfortably fits within a standard all-aboard window. Book the private option (not shared) well in advance in high season. Sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat are essential — the dune glare is intense.
