Glide across the shimmering Venetian Lagoon to three legendary islands — watch a maestro blow molten glass on Murano, photograph Burano's candy-coloured fishermen's houses, and stand in the hushed Byzantine mosaics of Torcello's ancient cathedral.
What to expect
Board a classic lagoon motoscafo at Chioggia port and head north through the broad, bird-rich waters of the Venetian Lagoon. On Murano, enter a historic furnace for a live glassblowing demonstration by a fifth-generation maestro. Burano's pastel-painted rios offer the most photogenic 30 minutes of the trip. Torcello, the lagoon's oldest settlement, rewards with the spectacular 'Last Judgement' mosaic in the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta — and near-total solitude. Return sailing at golden hour.
Good to know
Departures are typically morning (9:00–9:30). The full loop is 7–8 hours; confirm all-aboard time before booking. Bring sun protection — the open lagoon has little shade. Book directly with Chioggia Navigation SRL at the port office or by phone to secure your place.
