As the Adriatic sun drops behind the lagoon's wetlands, sip Venetian Spritz and local cicchetti aboard a private lagoon boat. This golden-hour cruise transforms Chioggia's waterfront into one of Italy's most magical evening tableaux.
What to expect
Board a beautifully maintained traditional lagoon vessel at the Chioggia embankment for a 1.5–2 hour sunset cruise. Your skipper steers through the inner canals past Chioggia's Byzantine-Venetian campanile and the brightly painted fishermen's boats, then out to open water as the sky ignites. A local aperitivo spread is served onboard — regional wines, Spritz, bruschetta, and local salumi — as the lagoon turns copper and rose. Stars appear as you glide back to port.
Good to know
Sunset tours depart approximately 1.5–2 hours before local sunset — timing shifts seasonally. This experience is entirely based in Chioggia, so no transit to Venice is required; perfect for an evening return to ship. Book directly with the local operator via the GetYourGuide Chioggia portal to confirm the exact departure time.
