Two-Day Private Luxor, Dendera & Abydos Tour from Safaga

The ultimate overnight Nile antiquities journey — Luxor's royal tombs and temples on day one, then the jewel-coloured zodiac ceiling of Dendera and the sacred Osiris temple at Abydos on day two. Two days that cover 5,000 years of civilisation.

What to expect

Day one covers the West Bank (Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, Colossi of Memnon) and the East Bank (Karnak, Luxor Temple by evening light). You overnight at a boutique Nile-view property in Luxor city centre. Day two takes you north to Abydos — the hauntingly beautiful cenotaph of Seti I — then to Dendera, where the roof chapel reveals the famous circular zodiac in its original setting. Your Egyptologist guide contextualises every hieroglyph, transforming stone into story.

Good to know

Confirm your ship's all-aboard time carefully — a 2-day tour means you rejoin the vessel at the next port or fly to catch it; co-ordinate with your cruise line before booking. Pack an overnight bag separately from your main luggage. Dendera entrance is included in the Luxor Pass (USD 100 pp) — worth buying if visiting 4+ sites.
