Slip into turquoise water alongside wild bottlenose dolphins in one of the world's most biodiverse marine bays. A specialist eco-charter keeps group sizes tiny, maximising your time in the water and minimising disturbance to the pod.
What to expect
You'll be fully briefed on dolphin behaviour and responsible marine etiquette before departure. The boat navigates the bay under the guidance of an experienced marine naturalist who reads the water for signs of bottlenose and common dolphins. When a pod is located, snorkellers enter the water gracefully — dolphins are naturally curious and often circle swimmers. Even on days when swimming is restricted by DOC conditions, the on-deck wildlife viewing is world-class. Total time: approx. 3–4 hours.
Good to know
