What to expect
Just a 5-minute taxi ride from the pier, Ocean World immerses you in a world of marine life. In the Dolphin Swim, you wade into a warm lagoon and interact directly with bottlenose dolphins — belly rubs, dorsal-fin rides, and the extraordinary moment a 400-pound animal presses its rostrum into your palm and looks you in the eye. Good to know
Dolphin Swim sessions must be pre-booked directly on the Ocean World website — they sell out weeks in advance for popular port days. The park is 5 minutes from Amber Cove by taxi (approx. USD 5–8 each way). Waterproof cameras and GoPros permitted in the water.
