Kangaroo Island's most iconic landscapes in one visit — gravity-defying orange granite boulders perched above the Southern Ocean and a hauntingly beautiful fur seal colony beneath a dripping sea arch. Pure, cinematic wilderness.
What to expect
Remarkable Rocks is a cluster of ancient granite boulders sculpted by 500 million years of wind and salt into otherworldly forms, perched on a clifftop dome 75 metres above the Southern Ocean surf. The views alone are worth the drive. A short distance away, the boardwalk down to Admirals Arch winds through wind-pruned coastal scrub before revealing a magnificent, stalactite-hung sea arch colonised by New Zealand fur seals basking on the rocks below. Wallabies and Cape Barren geese roam freely throughout the park.
