Leap from the 43-metre bungee platform above Nanaimo River Gorge or arc through the canyon on the legendary King Swing — the most adrenaline-charged moment on Vancouver Island. Bucket-list daring with jaw-dropping scenery.
What to expect
You arrive at a dramatic wooden bridge spanning the Nanaimo River Gorge, harness up with certified jump-masters, and stand on the platform overlooking a cathedral of old-growth forest and rushing water below. The King Swing sends you arcing 150 feet out over the canyon at 140 km/h — pure, screaming joy. Between jumps, the Monkido aerial park and zip lines fill every spare moment. Staff are expert, encouraging, and completely focused on your experience.
Good to know
Pre-book online — walk-ups are rarely accommodated. The park is a 15-minute taxi or rideshare from the Nanaimo cruise dock. Allow 2–3 hours minimum; all-aboard is typically 5–6 pm so a morning arrival is ideal. Closed-toe shoes required; weight limits apply (check site).
