Sail the warm Arabian Sea aboard a private catamaran from Bogmalo Beach — Goa's prettiest pocket-bay — to the offshore reefs of Grande Island. Snorkel vivid coral gardens, then drift alongside wild spinner dolphins on the return leg. Unforgettable open-water freedom.
What to expect
Bogmalo Beach is a 10-minute drive from Mormugao Port — one of the closest beaches to any Indian cruise terminal. The catamaran glides out past traditional fishing dhows to Grande Island's reef, where the water clarity regularly exceeds 10 metres. Full snorkel kit (masks, fins, life vests) is provided and a crew member snorkels alongside first-time swimmers. On the return, the captain cuts the engine and you drift silently — often close enough to dolphins to hear them breathe.
Good to know
Bogmalo Beach is literally 3 km from Mormugao Port — the closest beach option. Sea conditions are calmest October–April (cruise season). Book a private charter directly rather than a shared trip for a true luxury experience. Bring reef-safe sunscreen only; operators enforce this on the reef. Allow 3.5–4 hours for the full excursion including transfers.
