Snorkel the dazzling coral gardens beneath Ambon's dramatic natural sea arch at Pintu Kota Marine Park, then float over reef walls teeming with tropical fish. One of Maluku's most photogenic natural wonders — above and below the waterline.
What to expect
A short private transfer along Ambon's south coast delivers you to Pintu Kota ('City Gate'), a towering limestone arch punching out of the sea. You slip into gin-clear water over pristine hard coral gardens; your guide points out clownfish, lionfish, and parrotfish darting through staghorn coral. After snorkelling, you walk up the headland for sweeping panoramic views of the bay. Fresh coconut water and a light local snack are served before the return drive.
Good to know
Suitable for all swimmers; no experience needed. Best light is mid-morning — aim to arrive by 09:30. Wear reef-safe sunscreen only. Confirm pick-up time so you allow a comfortable 90-minute buffer before all-aboard.
