Launch at first light from the shores of Porto Taverna and paddle through mirror-calm, jade-coloured waters inside the Tavolara–Punta Coda Cavallo Marine Reserve — snorkelling sea-grass meadows alive with marine life, then toasting the morning with a traditional Sardinian espresso on a secret beach.
What to expect
A guide transfers you to the launch point on the reserve's lagoon edge before other tourists are awake. You paddle along the protected coastline, pausing at two snorkel stations in posidonia meadows teeming with sea bream, starfish, and translucent jellyfish. The pace is gentle — this is a mindful, immersive experience, not a workout. The session closes on a pocket beach with a moka-pot espresso and local pastries before the transfer back to port in time for a leisurely breakfast aboard.
Good to know
Departs approx. 7–8 am; back at port by midday, well clear of all-aboard. No kayak experience required. Arrange private transfer from the cruise terminal to the launch site (approx. EUR 20–25 each way by taxi). Confirm current pricing and availability directly with the operator via CruiseSheet's listing.
