The bucket-list things to do — and who runs each one.
Here’s the bucket list for your day ashore: the most extraordinary thing to do at each stop, who runs it, and how to book it direct — so you can weigh it against your ship’s excursion and pick what suits you.
Glide along Rovinj's luminous coastline by night aboard a private luxury speedboat, sipping Croatian wine as the old town's painted facades glow above the Adriatic. An intimate, cinematic experience that simply cannot be replicated by day.
Venture into the ancient oak forests of Motovun hill-town with a truffle master and his hunting dogs, then sit down to a lavish 3-course brunch built entirely around freshly unearthed Istrian truffles. Istria produces some of the world's finest white truffles — this is the definitive way to taste them.
Race into the open Adriatic aboard a sleek speedboat at golden hour, scanning the sea for bottlenose dolphins that frequent Rovinj's waters, all while Croatian prosecco is poured on deck. Sunsets here are legendary — add wild dolphins and it becomes unforgettable.
Spend a half-day cruising Rovinj's stunning archipelago — swimming in crystalline coves, exploring uninhabited islands — then anchor for a freshly grilled seafood feast prepared on board or at a secluded konoba. The Adriatic, the islands, the fish: Croatia in one glorious morning.
Discover two of Istria's most beguiling medieval hill towns in a single half-day: fortified Motovun, draped over vine-terraced hills, and tiny Grožnjan, a living artists' colony of galleries and jazz. This is the Croatia most visitors never see from the coast.
Ascend the 60-metre Venetian bell tower of Rovinj's iconic St. Euphemia Basilica for a panorama that sweeps from the Istrian hinterland to the open Adriatic, then unravel the old town's layered Roman, Venetian, and Habsburg story with a certified local guide.
You know what to do on the day. Here is the trip it belongs to — each one opens as a whole plan, not a list: where to fly in, every port, what it runs.
