Best time is mid-March to early May when the azaleas, bluebonnets, and spring bulbs are out, or October–November for fall color. Summers are brutally hot and humid; avoid midday tours then. Expect to pay around $35–$65 per person for a small-group private or semi-private tour including garden admission. Self-guided entry alone runs cheaper if you don’t need the narration.
