Is Aura Skypool Worth It in Dubai?

Aura Skypool is exactly what it sounds like: an infinity pool on the 50th floor of a tower in the middle of Dubai Marina with 360-degree views. You get the classic Dubai mix of bling, skyscrapers, and that slightly unreal feeling of swimming while the city sprawls beneath you. Expect a sleek but busy scene. The pool itself isn't huge, so it can feel crowded during peak hours. Sunset is the main event; the lights of the Marina and Sheikh Zayed Road come on while the sky turns orange. It's genuinely impressive the first time, but it's more of a photo-and-drink experience than a proper swimming session.

Best time to visit is November to March when it's actually pleasant to be outside. Go for the golden hour slot just before sunset if you can. Expect to pay around $80–$130 per person depending on the package (daytime is cheaper, sunset and evening packages with a drink included cost more). The basic daytime slot is fine if you're just after the view; the sunset package is worth the extra if you want the full Instagram moment.

Smart tip: book the earliest available sunset slot to beat the biggest crowds. Skip the overpriced food if you're on a budget; eat before or after in the Marina instead. If you're afraid of heights or hate being surrounded by people taking photos, this one probably isn't for you.
