Burj Khalifa At The Top: Worth It?

Expect a fast elevator ride to levels 124 and 125 where you get 360-degree views stretching from the Palm islands across the city to the desert. The upper deck on 125 is open-air with strong wind; level 124 has more space and better photo spots. It's genuinely impressive on a clear day but can feel crowded and noisy with lots of people shuffling for the same rail spots. The whole visit usually takes 45-90 minutes once you're up there.

Go October through March, ideally on a weekday morning right after opening or in the hour before sunset. Summer is brutally hot and the haze often ruins visibility. Expect to pay around $70-120 per person depending on whether you choose the standard ticket or the higher SKY level with lounge access and fewer crowds. The basic ticket is fine for most people.

Pick the standard At The Top ticket for levels 124/125 and skip the pricier SKY deck unless you really want the quieter experience and a free drink. Book at least a few days ahead for your chosen time slot. If you're doing a Big Bus tour anyway, check whether it includes discounted entry.
