A guided hiking day trip from Nice usually means leaving the city by minibus and heading into the surrounding mountains or gorges for a 3–5 hour walk. Expect solid exercise rather than a gentle stroll: trails are often rocky, with decent elevation gain and rewarding views over valleys, turquoise rivers, or dramatic cliffs.
