Expect a half-day adventure that mixes adrenaline with pretty views. After a short drive into the hills behind Montego Bay, you’ll get a safety briefing, gear up, and spend a couple of hours crossing a long suspension bridge then flying down five to seven ziplines through thick jungle canopy. The longest run is roughly 1,600 feet and feels genuinely fast; the rest are shorter warm-ups. Between lines you walk short forest trails. It’s physical but not extreme—most reasonably fit people manage fine. The whole thing usually takes 3–4 hours door-to-door from your hotel.
The best time is December to April when it’s drier and the risk of afternoon rain is lower. June to November is cheaper but you’ll probably get wet and the lines can close if lightning appears. Expect to pay around $90–$150 per person depending on whether you add river tubing or just do the ziplines. Hotel pickup is usually included.
Pick the morning tour if you can; the jungle is cooler and the light is better for photos. Skip the add-on photos package—they’re overpriced and the guides take plenty you can just ask for later. Wear closed-toe shoes that can get muddy and bring a change of clothes if you’re combining with river tubing.
