The cable car gives you a smooth, quiet ride high above the water with solid 360-degree views of the harbour, Sentosa’s greenery, and the city skyline. The journey itself takes about 10-15 minutes each way. Once on Sentosa you step out straight into the island’s attractions; many people ride over during the day then take the return trip after dark when the city lights look best. It’s a pleasant, low-effort way to enter Sentosa without fighting ground-level crowds or queues for the monorail.

Expect to pay around S$35–55 per adult for a basic return ticket; adding the glass-bottom cabin or a Sentosa entry pass pushes it toward S$60–80. The best time is late afternoon through sunset, especially on clear days. Avoid midday heat and haze season (June–September) when visibility drops. Weekday mornings are quieter if you just want the views without long waits.

Pick the standard cabin unless you really want the novelty of the glass floor; the regular ones are more comfortable and less crowded.
