It's genuinely impressive on a clear day but can feel crowded and slightly overhyped if visibility is poor or you're short on time. The whole visit usually takes 45-90 minutes depending on lines.

Go in late spring through early fall for the best chance of clear skies; early morning or right before closing tends to be less packed than midday.
