Should You Do a Bernabéu Stadium Tour?

A Bernabéu tour is basically a self-guided or lightly guided walk through the stadium’s stands, dressing rooms, tunnel, pitch-side area, and the big museum. Expect lots of stairs, glass cases full of trophies, giant screens showing goals, and the chance to stand where players stand. It’s well-organized and clean but can feel very corporate. On busy days you’ll be moving with crowds and queuing for the photo spots. The whole thing takes 90 minutes to two hours depending on how long you linger in the museum.

Best time is spring or fall on a weekday morning right after opening. Summer is hotter and more crowded, and match days obviously change or cancel tours. Expect to pay around €25–€65 depending on whether you choose the basic self-guided ticket or a premium experience with better access and a guide. Kids and seniors get discounts.

Pick the version that gets you onto the actual pitch or as close as they allow — that’s the part most people remember. Skip the expensive “legends” add-ons or VIP boxes unless you’re a hardcore fan; they’re usually just extra rooms with more screens. Book a few days ahead in high season but don’t stress about same-day tickets outside of big match weeks.
