You'll be 800+ feet up on the Strat tower with four main thrill rides plus the observation deck. Big Shot shoots you straight up the tower's spire then drops; X-Scream teeters you over the edge on a short track; Insanity spins you out horizontally above the Strip; SkyJump is a controlled 800-foot freefall that feels closer to a high-speed rappel than a bungee. Expect serious wind, some queasiness if you're not great with heights, and views that make your stomach flip even before the rides start. The whole thing is over quickly—most rides last under a minute—so the thrill is intense but brief. Lines can drag if it's busy.
Go in the shoulder seasons (late spring or early fall) for milder temperatures and shorter waits. Summer evenings are popular but brutally hot during the day and the wind can shut rides down. Expect to pay around $60–$110 total depending on whether you buy individual tickets or a bundle that includes the observation deck and a couple rides. The all-access pass usually makes sense if you want to do more than one.
Skip Insanity unless you're dead set on spinning; it's the least impressive. Do SkyJump once if you're comfortable with heights—it's the standout. Pair it with Big Shot for the best contrast of vertical speed. Eat beforehand but not a huge meal, and don't bother with the rides if it's gusty—staff will cancel them and you won't get refunds on single tickets.
