A sunset boat tour is one of the better ways to see Barcelona from the water. You’ll spend 1.5–2.5 hours cruising along the coast, watching the city’s skyline and the Mediterranean turn orange, then pink. Most trips stay within sight of the Sagrada Família, the W Hotel, and the beaches. Expect some engine noise on catamarans; sailing boats are quieter but can rock more. Drinks are usually included; a few add tapas or a light dinner. It’s relaxing rather than exciting — perfect if you want a calm evening rather than a party boat.

The best time is mid-May to early October, with June–August offering the latest sunsets (around 9:15–9:30pm). Go in shoulder season if you want fewer crowds. Expect to pay around $35–70 per person for a standard group tour with drinks. Private sails for 2–8 people start closer to $250–400 total.
