Beech Mountain Trail is a 1.2-mile loop hike on Mount Desert Island that ascends to a fire tower summit with views of Long Pond, Mansell Mountain, Somes Sound, and Echo Lake. The trail features forested paths, granite slabs, and rocky terrain, offering hikers access to one of the few remaining fire towers in the area and a popular sunset viewing spot.
