The Asticou Azalea Garden combines natural Mount Desert Island features with Japanese garden design elements, located in Northeast Harbor. The garden showcases seasonal blooms including flowering cherries in May, azaleas and rhododendrons from late May through June, Japanese iris and rhododendrons in July, water lilies in August, and fall foliage in September and October. Open daily from dawn to dusk, May 2 through November 1.
