Psychro Cave is an ancient Minoan sacred cave located on the Lasithi plateau in eastern Crete, famous in Greek mythology as the birthplace or hiding place of Zeus. Visitors explore the cave's floodlit interior featuring stalagmites and stalactites, and can see a subterranean pool accessed by a rock-cut stair. Archaeological excavations have uncovered extensive votive offerings including bronze objects, ceramic vessels, and semi-precious stones from Minoan times.
