A famous 215-step stairway in Rio de Janeiro covered with over 2,000 ceramic tiles, mirrors, and hand-painted ceramics collected from more than 60 countries, created by Chilean-born artist Jorge Selarón as a tribute to Brazil. Visitors climb the colorfully decorated steps that stretch 125 metres between the Lapa and Santa Teresa neighbourhoods, experiencing an ever-evolving public art installation that has become an iconic tourist attraction featured in major media and documentaries.
