MAR is an art museum inaugurated in March 2013, housed in two connected historic buildings in downtown Rio de Janeiro's Centro district. The museum features exposition rooms, the Escola do Olhar cultural development space, and preserves the city's artistic and historical heritage through exhibitions and cultural programming.
