Maungakiekie / One Tree Hill is a 182-metre volcanic peak in Auckland, New Zealand, erupted approximately 67,000 years ago. The summit provides views across Auckland and both of its harbours, and the 118-acre domain adjoins Cornwall Park to create 540 acres of public green space. The site holds significant cultural and archaeological importance as a former Māori pā and ancestral mountain with deep historical roots to the Waiohua confederation and Ngāti Whātua iwi.
