
A 12-hectare botanical garden operated by Sapienza University of Rome, established in 1883 on the slopes of the Janiculum overlooking the historic Palazzo Corsini. The garden contains over 3,000 plant species including a Japanese garden, bamboo groves, medicinal plants, cacti, carnivorous plants, and tropical orchids housed in multiple greenhouses.
