The Pinacoteca di Brera, officially established in 1809, is an art museum housing masterpieces and educational collections alongside the Accademia di Belle Arti in Milan's Palazzo Brera. Visitors study historical and contemporary artworks across multiple spaces, including a visible restoration laboratory, and experience the expanded Grande Brera project which opened in December 2024 with modern and contemporary art collections in Palazzo Citterio.
