San Agustin Church is the oldest stone church in the Philippines, completed in 1607 and built by the Order of Saint Augustine using hewn adobe stones. A UNESCO World Heritage Site designated in 1993, it is the only public building that remained undamaged after the devastating 1863 earthquake and survived the massive bombardment of Manila in 1945.
