A covered bazaar constructed in 1660, housing 85 shops that sell spices, Turkish delight, dried fruits and nuts, jewellery, and souvenirs. Historically the center of spice trade in Istanbul, it remains one of the largest and most famous covered shopping complexes in the city after the Grand Bazaar.
