A memorial hall dedicated to Sun Yat-sen, the Republic of China's National Father, completed in 1972 and situated in Chung-shan Park. Visitors can view displays of Sun's life and the revolution he led, watch the hourly changing of the guard ceremony at the main entrance, and access exhibition galleries, a performance hall, multimedia theatre, and library. The hall also serves as a multi-purpose cultural and educational center hosting exhibitions, performances, and events including the annual Golden Horse Film Festival and Awards.
