A Lutheran church built directly into solid rock in Helsinki's Töölö neighborhood, completed in 1969 by architects Timo and Tuomo Suomalainen. The interior is excavated from bedrock and lit by a central copper dome skylight, with exposed rock walls that create exceptional acoustics used for concerts. The church attracts approximately half a million visitors annually and is recognized as a significant architectural landmark.
