
Trou aux Cerfs is a dormant volcanic crater located in Curepipe, Mauritius, standing 605 meters high with a crater 300-350 meters in diameter and 80 meters deep. Visitors can walk or drive to observe the well-defined cone and crater lake, encountering endemic wildlife including long-tailed macaques, fruit bats, and rare bird species like the martin and swiftlet, along with native plant species such as Trochetia varieties.
