Wat Arun is a 82-meter tall Buddhist temple situated on the western bank of the Chao Phraya River, famous for its distinctive central spire decorated with porcelain and seashells blending Khmer and Thai artistry. Visitors can climb the steep steps of the main prang to reach panoramic views of the river, the Grand Palace, and Wat Pho across the water, making it one of the few Thai temples permitting ascent to its summit.
