What to expect
You'll walk past shearing sheds, peat stacks, and the small settlement buildings, with sheep dogs working nearby if it's the season. The Pole-Evans family, who have farmed here for generations, are often around to answer questions over tea in the old farmhouse. It's unpolished and genuine rather than staged for visitors.

Best done at the start or end of your landing since it's right by the beach; the tea room has limited seating so go early if the ship has a large group ashore.
