What to expect
You suit up in flotation suits before skimming across open water toward the cliffs of Bleiksøya, where tens of thousands of seabirds nest in summer. The skipper cuts the engine near known eagle perches, and it's common to watch a sea eagle stoop for fish just meters from the boat. Salt spray, cold wind, and total quiet between engine bursts make it feel wild rather than staged.
