A chauffeur-guided private odyssey to Kefalonia's two crown jewels — the otherworldly turquoise arc of Myrtos Beach and the cathedral-like Melissani Cave Lake — at your own pace, without a crowd in sight.
What to expect
Your private guide collects you dockside and whisks you north along the island's spine, pausing at panoramic clifftop overlooks before descending to the iconic white-pebble crescent of Myrtos. You then journey east to Melissani, where a wooden rowboat carries you into a collapsed-roof cave filled with sapphire light refracting off the lake. The afternoon is yours to fill — a village kafeneion, a wine stop, or simply more beach — before a relaxed return to port. Transfers are in a private, air-conditioned vehicle throughout.
Good to know
Pre-book well in advance; private guides fill up fast on busy cruise days. Melissani Cave entry (EUR 7 pp) is paid on-site. Myrtos has no shade infrastructure — bring sunscreen and a hat. Allow 7–8 hours; confirm all-aboard time with your guide at the outset.
