No dive certification? No problem. A PADI-certified instructor takes you on a guided discover scuba dive through one of the Maldives' famed channel reefs — coral gardens, napoleon wrasse, white-tip reef sharks and a kaleidoscope of tropical fish, all at 5–10 metres depth.
What to expect
After a thorough 45-minute pool-based briefing and skills session at the dive centre — a 10-minute speedboat ride from the cruise terminal — you kit up and descend onto a sheltered house reef brimming with life. Your PADI instructor stays within arm's reach throughout, pointing out hawksbill turtles resting on the coral, lionfish hovering in crevices and the occasional grey reef shark drifting past in the blue. The dive itself lasts 20–30 minutes at 5–10 m depth, and all premium equipment is provided and fitted individually.
Good to know
Minimum age 10; participants must be in reasonable health (standard medical form required — complete online before arrival). Allow 4 hours total from pier departure to return. Book at least 10 days ahead and share any medical conditions at booking. Euro Divers can also accommodate certified divers on guided fun dives at the same location.
