Soar 700m above sea level on Southeast Asia's most dramatic cable car, then cross the world-famous curved Sky Bridge suspended over a jungle-cloaked mountain. An icon of Malaysia — and utterly unmissable.
What to expect
Board the gondola at Oriental Village and glide past ancient rainforest canopy to the peak of Gunung Mat Cincang, Langkawi's second-highest mountain. The Sky Bridge — a 125-metre curved pedestrian span — hangs 660m above sea level with vertiginous views down to limestone karst and turquoise sea. A private guide narrates the geological story of this 550-million-year-old landscape. The descent reveals a different panorama, equally jaw-dropping.
Good to know
Opens at 9:30 AM; arrive by 10 AM to avoid peak queues. All-aboard times are typically 5–6 PM — the summit visit takes 2–3 hours, leaving ample buffer. Pre-book SkyCab tickets online as they sell out on busy days. Pair with Telaga Tujuh Waterfalls nearby for a full morning.
