Gateway Arch: Tram Ride to the Top + National Park

Ascend America's tallest monument — all 630 feet of gleaming stainless steel — in a pod tram for a jaw-dropping panorama of the Mississippi and the St. Louis skyline. A bucket-list icon that defines the American West's starting point.

What to expect

Board one of the iconic pod-shaped trams that wind up the curved legs of the Arch; each pod holds five passengers in a snug, adventure-movie intimacy. At the top, panoramic windows frame the Mississippi River, Busch Stadium, and seemingly endless Missouri plains. Below, the Museum at the Gateway Arch tells the story of Westward Expansion with immersive galleries. Allow 2–3 hours to do it full justice.
