Nusa Lembongan: Private Snorkel & Manta Ray Encounter

Escape to Bali's most pristine offshore island for a private boat charter, world-class snorkelling above vivid coral gardens, and a humbling drift-swim alongside oceanic manta rays at Manta Point — arguably the best marine encounter in Southeast Asia.

What to expect

A 45-minute fast-boat transfer from Sanur (private transfer from Benoa included) brings you to Lembongan's crystalline waters. Your marine biologist-trained guide leads you first to Crystal Bay and its coral bommies teeming with reef fish, then to the open-water channel at Manta Point, where oceanic mantas cruise effortlessly through nutrient-rich currents. After the snorkel, enjoy lunch at a clifftop warung before the return boat to Sanur and private transfer back to Benoa.

Good to know

Manta sightings are highly reliable year-round but peak May–October. Allow 8–9 hrs from Benoa. Strong currents at Manta Point mean this is best suited to confident swimmers; your guide provides full safety briefing. Book the private charter for parties of 4+ for the most luxurious experience. Confirm all-aboard time with your ship — the port is approximately 30 min from Sanur.
