Watch eagles, falcons, and hawks fly free against Bornholm's open skies at one of Scandinavia's most acclaimed birds-of-prey experiences. Intimate, theatrical, and unlike anything else on a Baltic itinerary.
What to expect
Set on a working estate in Bornholm's forested interior, the show brings you face-to-face with magnificent raptors — white-tailed sea eagles, peregrine falcons, buzzards, and owls — flown by expert falconers in a sweeping open arena. The birds pass within arm's reach of the audience, their wingbeats audible, their eyes electric. The falconers narrate with evident passion, weaving in the ecology, folklore, and conservation story of each species. Shows run to a fixed schedule and last approximately one hour — perfectly sized for a port day.
Good to know
Located near Aakirkeby in central Bornholm, approximately 20–25 minutes from Rønne by taxi. Check the daily show schedule at rovfugleshow.dk before departing the ship — typically two or three performances per day in summer. Book or arrive early; capacity is limited and the show regularly sells out on cruise-call days.
