What to expect
Your seaplane skims low over the fiery red pindan cliffs of the Kimberley before splashing down beside the floating pontoon at Talbot Bay. An expert guide briefs you on the extraordinary tidal mechanics before you strap in aboard the rigid inflatable and surge through the narrow rock passage as billions of litres of Indian Ocean fight their way through. You'll ride the 'falls' in both directions as the tide turns, then enjoy a fresh seafood lunch on deck while sharks and rays circle below the pontoon's glass-bottom panel.
