Scuba Diving the Underwater Canyons of Amorgos

Plunge into some of the clearest, most biodiverse waters in the Aegean — dramatic underwater rock arches, sea caves and meadows of Posidonia seagrass teeming with octopus, grouper and nudibranchs. Guided by a certified PADI instructor in a pristine marine environment with visibility exceeding 30 metres.

What to expect

Transfer by small RIB to the chosen site — typically the rock formations off Agia Anna or the submerged cliffs near Nikouria islet. Your PADI guide briefs you thoroughly before you slip beneath a surface that turns instantly from turquoise to cobalt. Walls of rock encrusted with red and yellow sponge drop away below you; moray eels peer from crevices; a sea turtle is a not-uncommon sighting. Surfacing, chilled fruit and water await on the boat deck.
