Klimahaus Bremerhaven 8° Ost: Walk the World's Climate Zones

Follow the 8th meridian east from the Arctic to the tropics inside one breathtaking building — from Bremerhaven to Cameroon, Uzbekistan, Antarctica and beyond. A world-class sensory journey that is genuinely one-of-a-kind on the planet.

What to expect

The journey begins in a Norwegian fishing village under a simulated midnight sun and sweeps through nine climate zones across five continents, each recreated with authentic flora, fauna soundscapes and temperature changes. A dedicated 'Visions' gallery confronts climate futures with striking installations that provoke genuine reflection. The waterfront Havenwelten setting means you emerge onto a stunning harbour promenade. Allow a minimum of three hours to do it justice.
