Discover the hauntingly beautiful Art Deco-Moorish spa complex at Kallithea Springs — used by Hippocrates himself — then unwind on the golden sands of Tsambika, one of the Aegean's most photogenic beaches.
What to expect
Kallithea Springs (Thermes Kallithea) is a masterpiece of 1920s Italian Rationalist and Moorish architecture set directly on the sea — its domed pavilions, mosaic floors and carved arches reflected in tidal pools. Your guide explains its history as the ancient healing springs of Hippocrates before you explore independently and swim from the private rocky coves below. The tour then continues north to Tsambika Beach — a sweeping arc of fine golden sand backed by a hilltop monastery — for swimming and sunbathing with stunning panoramic views.
Good to know
Kallithea entry is approximately EUR 4 per adult, payable on-site. Bring swimwear and a towel for both Kallithea's sea coves and Tsambika. The half-day returns to port with comfortable time before all-aboard. Tsambika gets busy at midday — earlier visits are quieter and more atmospheric.
