Track the Big Five — lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino — inside Africa's oldest proclaimed game reserve, guided by an expert ranger in a private, air-conditioned 4x4. This is the birthplace of rhino conservation and one of the continent's most thrilling wildlife encounters.
What to expect
Your ranger meets you portside and transfers you in a luxury air-conditioned 4x4 for the scenic 90-minute drive north into KwaZulu-Natal's premier wilderness. Morning game drives in Hluhluwe-iMfolozi yield the highest Big Five density in the region, with white rhino sightings almost guaranteed. A bush lunch break under fever trees adds to the atmosphere before an afternoon circuit through the iMfolozi section. You return to the ship with time to spare, dust on your boots and extraordinary wildlife photographs.
